Hello and thanks for taking a look. I bought this TBird several years ago--because I had a friend in high school that had one and thought it was a cool car then and now. As far as i know this is an original 19,000 mile car. I'm pretty sure all five tires are original and in as new condition. Thick tread and no dry rot or cracks. Don't you wish tires today could be manufactured to last 40 years? The interior is in perfect condition except for a bit of fading on the top of the dash--but there are no cracks, no rips, nothing. The trunk is in the same condition--like brand new. Both power windows work and all glass is good. All gauges and lights work. The key buzzer works amazingly well. The exterior paint (original) is in very good condition. No Rust. There is some light scratches and dings and one small spot on the driver door where the paint is buffed thin--see photo. The padded top is also in perfect condition. Bumpers and wheel covers are also like new. The not so perfect stuff: For some odd reason the radio doesn't work--just static but might pick up a far away station. There is a small leak in the power steering but have never pursued the cause. The a/c doesn't work and again never investigated the cause but its all there and nothing has been removed or altered. Car sits for long periods but once started and warmed it idles and drives fine. The radiator, the carburetor, plug wires have been replaced with OEM parts. All the rest of the belts and hoses are original and in very good condition. Old carb included. Down sizing to a smaller house so I need to finally sell. Please contact me if you have questions.
