Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 2005 Ford Crown Victoria. It has always been a Florida car and started its live as a Police interceptor that was only used by a detective and led a very boring and safe life. It has been well maintained by the Ford dealer as seen on the carfax report. I bought this car almost 2 years ago after my Silver 2004 Mercury Marauder was totaled by a driver who was texting. The Marauder was hit on the passenger side at high speed which caused significant frame damage. I bought the Marauder back from insurance since it only had 82,000 miles and was in great shape. I sold the drivetrain and kept body parts and interior. I found this 2005 Silver Crown Victoria and thought this would be a good way to keep my Marauder alive and still have a good looking and reliable daily driver. It took a month but my Brother and I swapped over the following: Marauder front and rear bumpersMarauder front header panel and grillMarauder headlights/cornersMarauder taillights and reverse lightsMarauder trunk emblemMarauder wheels/tiresMarauder front seatsMarauder rear seat backMarauder door panelsMarauder dashMarauder overhead consoleMarauder floor shift consoleMarauder gaugesMach 1 Mustang front spoilerMarauder cat back exhaust with tips This is one of the best Marauder clones I have seen. I have driven this to cruise nights and most people cannot tell even with the hood open. Exterior: The entire car was painted by Maaco using the Preferred paint service. This is a basecoat clearcoat but not a show car job. It looks great but you can see orange peel up close. The only reason the car was painted is due to sun damage to the roof and hood. The body is in good shape with no rust and shines up very well. The wheels are in good shape with minimal rash on 2 wheels. All lights are in great shape and windows are in good shape as well. Interior: The interior is in great shape for the age. The driver seat has a 4 inch tear in the main seam which is covered with black tape. I was quoted $80 to fix it but I ended up putting a nice seat cover over it. The front seats are not hooked up to power. The seats were in the same position I had on my Marauder and I was unable to find a wiring diagram to hook up the Marauder harness to the CV harness... so I left them as is. The upholstery shop quoted me $100 to get power to the driver seat and $300 for the passenger seat (the CV had manual passenger seat). The rest of the interior is in great shape. I kept the CV rear seat bottom cushion because the Marauder cushion was damaged in the accident. The steering wheel was changed to a 2005 Grand Marquis GS wheel. Leather cover is on just for comfort. It has 15% window tint on side and rear windows. Electrical: The only options that do not work are the seats (see above), compass, and fog lights. This should be an easy fix. I did route power to the homelink and overhead console lights so that all works 100%. The Marauder gauges were swapped and the tachometer now works 100%. It has a Sony Xplod stereo so the steering wheel controls do not work. You can get an adapter for $35 to make this work. It has a Viper alarm system with remote start. Mechanical: Transmission was rebuilt by AAMCO at 121,000 miles. Shifts great and engine sounds smooth with good power. No leaks or abnormal noises. This is my daily driver and I make sure it gets oil changes every 3,000 miles and all maintenance is up to date. It has new front and rear Gabriel heavy duty CV shocks on all four corners. Brake pads and rotors are 1 year old. Front tires are brand new and rear tires have 50% tread left. Other recent maintenance include new A/C compressor, valve cover gaskets, and alternator. I have many cars but this is my reliable daily driver. The only reason I am selling it is because I bought my neighbors 4 door Jeep Wrangler as my daily driver / beach car. I now have 6 cars and have to get rid of one. This will make a great car for someone and I hope it goes to a good hope. The Marauder parts alone are worth at least $2,000. I am listing it here with No Reserve. The highest bidder wins! I have a free and clear Florida title ready to be transferred. Make sure you are ready to buy if you bid. I am located in Naples, FL zip 34119. Our closest airport is Fort Myers if you want to fly in and drive it home. I can give you the names of auto shippers if you decide to ship it to your home. It is a used vehicle that is sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. I require a $250 deposit within 48 hours of the auctions close. Full payment is due within 7 days of the auctions close. Pickup must be done within 30 days of the auctions close. Feel free to email me if you have questions. I can also give you my number if you would like to talk about the car or video chat for certain pics/etc. Thanks and goodluck!
