Okay, I had to re-list my car...the person who bought it last week decided that he did not have the means to both pay for it and send it across the country. Additionally, I have now listed the car locally so I will sell it when someone steps forward with the funds. This is a great 2008 Hummer H3 Alpha (yes the one with the V8 engine) that has been the most reliable car that I have ever owned. I bought it from the original owner in 2009 and have owned it for the past 9 years. It has been used by my wife as a daily driver and has never been used as a tow vehicle, been off-road, in the snow or any other harsh environment, and it has not been in an accident. This car is Black with Black interior (light gray piping on the seats); the seats are leather, and the front seats are heated and 6-way power adjustable with additional lumbar adjustment; luxury package; automatic transmission and all-wheel drive; power steering; power disc brakes; electronics: key-less entry; AM/FM/XM-radio, CD Player, OnStar, and Navigation System; Moon-roof/Sun-roof (it opens); Exterior Factory options: roof rack; aluminum wheels; running boards; tow hitch; etc. If anyone wants a full listing of the options on the car (too many to list here) just send me and e-mail and I will send a listing. Also, if anyone wants a close-up picture of anything, just let me know. I put the front tow hook shackles back on the car, I had them off for cleaning when I took the pictures. Overall the car is in great condition. Both the exterior and the interior are in amazing shape. I encourage anyone that is interested in buying the car to set up an appointment and inspect it, or have an independent evaluator inspect it. I have just had a few minor cosmetic things fixed (new windshield because of chips, new original driver’s seat bottom because of a small tear) and I have had the car detailed. I have also just changed the oil and have replaced all of the brake pads. The tires are Yokohama’s which give a nice quite ride, and they have about 45% of wear left. Please note that my description says that there have never been any accidents, yet after I listed it, I found that the Auto Check Report says that there was a Minor Incident in 2012, I checked and found the following information: The Rancho Cordova (CA) Police reported in Feb 2012, that someone contacted the police and reported that a minor incident had occurred and someone had backed into my Hummer in a Parking Lot. I was not aware of that until today, as I was never contacted, and I stand by my statement that this car was never in an accident nor sustained any damage (I am a car guy and I would have noticed any marks). I also requested and got a letter from my Insurance Company (AAA) that says this car has never had a claim against it, or a lapse in coverage (and I will send that to anyone who wants to see it if you request it). For those thinking of buying a Base H3 Hummer with the 5 cylinder engine, DON’T DO IT. I had one of those before this car, and I always complained about it being underpowered. There is a world of difference in noticeable power between the two car models, and that is reflected in the car model prices. For any buyer that needs to have the vehicle shipped, once you set up the shipping I will help load the vehicle…in the mean time I will keep the vehicle in protected indoor storage.
