My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differenlty than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take your time to check out each of the 80+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2006 BMW X5 with just 129k original miles. As you can see, this is a beautiful truck. It is finished in black over tan, which looks great. The black finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this X5. The body lines are all nice and straight. The hood, doers and tail gates all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time to check out each of the photos to see how clean this X5 came in. I would also rate the interior of this X5 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The tan interior contrasts nicely against the black exterior. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. A full set of factory floor mats are also included. Both front seats are power operated and heated, as is the steering wheel (which is probably the best thing ever). The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. There is an aftermarket DVD entertainment system installed with TV's mounted in the rear headrests. I have not tried to work it. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR and the heater works well, too. The panoramic sunroof really opens up the interior and has a power retracting shade that opens and closes at the touch of a button. The cargo area is spacious and clean, too. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this truck looks. Mechanically, this X5 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. This X5 is an absolute pleasure to drive. The engine keeps normal temperature and feels strong. The check engine light is on. The code is for the secondary air injection system, which is a little fan that runs for a minute or so on cold start that blows hot air from the exhaust back into the engine to help it warm up faster. It does not have any impact on the performance of the vehicle. I've driven and driven and driven this truck with zero issues. You can fly in and drive this X5 anywhere you want to go with confidence. The automatic transmission enagages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The AWD system is tested and working properly.
