Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 BMW 530I with just over 120k miles. I would rate the exterior of this BMW to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in blue over sand leather interior behind professionally tinted windows, which is a good color combination. The blue finish shines nicely and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this 530i. Just expect a few normal rub marks and such on the bumpers, but nothing major. All of the body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. The factory alloy wheels show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this BMW looks. I would rate the interior of this 530i to also be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show well for their age and are not excessively worn. Throughout the interior, dark wood accents give you a warm and comfortable feel. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show well for their age. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for the driver and passenger. It's still too cold out to verify that the air conditioner is cooling properly but I can tell you that the heater works well. The trunk is spacious and clean, too. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The powerful 3.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. At highway speeds, I noticed a slight vibration...but nothing alarming. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. During my road test, the yellow brake light and ABS lights came on. This did happen immediately after taking a short cut through some grass to turn around, so that may not be a permanent thing. In the photographs, you can see that the check engine light is on. I needed to replace the battery in this car, which clears out any stored codes. I figured it would come back when I did my road test. However, my road test of this car lasted more than an hour and involved several stops...with no check engine light. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The only other bad thing I can think of to say about this BMW is that there is a low beam headlight out and the turn signals do not work properly.
