I bought this car a couple months back and had big plans for it and unfortunately lost my mechanic. I have several cars and motorcycles and I am not a mechanic.Here is what I can tell you that I know about the car. The previous owner started working on this over 10 years ago. From what I understand he put thousands in the car and it is very solid with no bondo in it. All floorboards and trunk is solid. I took pictures underneath of the car, showing no rust issues other than surface rust on any part. The interior has been redone completely but the dash pad needs attached. I did get so far as to get the car running and it sounds like a beast. I did find a receipt for a cam, and you can tell it was installed. I had the fluids changed and had a new tranny filter, pan, and gasket installed. I do know the motor was set up to race and has a holly 750 sitting on a high rise intake. I believe the carb will need dialed in. The car has headers and I do know it has a aftermarket fuel pump. I also know this car was a 4 speed and the clutch pedal was left under the carpet. Also the column was changed. I think a brake booster is needed. I was told there is some difficulty telling if a car is a true ss or not, but it is on the title and I don't think you can add that? The car will still need some things I am sure, and the paint job looks better in the pictures than it is. This car has all the potential to be that big money car if someone knows what they are doing. if you haceany questions on want more pictures just let me know.
