This lovely original 5-Series left the BMW factory in November of 1987 when it was then invoiced to BMW North America and then sold new to its single owner out of Modesto California where it has lived since new. This very original and unmolested 528e is a rare find to come by in this kind of condition with just a single owner from new and having covered a mere 72,310 miles. The original paint is in good condition showing some age and some small chips here and there but overall very presentable and original (very minor touch ups). All of the glass appears to be original and all of the trim items are in good condition with minimal age and wear. The tires are brand new and the original rims are in good condition with minimal wear. The original cloth interior shows remarkably well, the sets are nice and firm and not sagging and the cloth itself is overall nice and clean with minimal age. The carpets are in very nice condition with no real stains and no damage and the headliner is nice and clean. The dash top does show some cracking in the black but the lower center console and lower console are in excellent condition free from any cracking. All of the switchgear is in excellent condition and free from damage. The engine starts right up and idles smoothly and does not smoke under start up or acceleration. The car pulls very strong through all of the gears and brakes smoothly without any grinding or fade. The steering is nice and tight and does not pull or have any loose feeling. All of the electronics work in the car including the all of the warning lights and self-diagnostic computers. The AC is ice cold and the heater is very warm. All of the windows, locks, seats (minus both power headrests) sunroof and tilt, lights, both interior and exterior, power antenna and factory radio are all functioning as designed. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire an E28 5-Series that has been meticulously maintained since new and under a single ownership since new.
