I bought this car a few months ago from a local man that has owned and loved it since he bought it over 50 years ago. He was the second owner and the only change he made was to change it from the original Goldenrod Yellow with a black and white interior to Torch Red with a red and white interior. This repaint was done in laquer in the early 60s and at that time he replaced the out rockers from rust damage and should have also done the inner rockers. This car is rock solid and shows no signs of rust anywhere else in the car. The photos I included give a good representation of the quality. The interior is nice with the exception of the dash, it has some bubbling under the dash material on the passenger side and is not as nice as the rest of the interior. The car has been driven very little in recent years, but it does run and drive. the paint has some scratches and blemishes but still looks nice for a few feet away. It woud make a decent driver/survivor car that you could fix up as you went, but I think it would be a fantastic restoration project that will do nothing but appreciate. The convertible top is rough and missing a piece of trim from the rear window, but is otherwise complete. I own and restore my own car collection and would be happy to provide additional information or pictures upon serious request. I will assist any way I can with shipping, but obviously it is the buyers responsibility. This car will sell for the highest bid with no reserve!
