Vehicle Detail
Very nice garage kept 3 owner E320 Cabriolet. My step mom bought it in LA and she was the 3rd owner and I transferred the car to myself so technically it's has 4 owners. No accidents whatsoever and in the last 4 years it's has stayed in my climate controlled warehouse where it just collected dust because I had several other projects going on. My step mom gave up on this beauty when the wire harness, convertible top, and top cover needed replacing. I replaced the top with a Haartz German top and rebuilt all 8 cylinders. The cylinders were rebuilt by Dennis Ficken. Please Google him and you will see he is the best in the business. I also changed the wire harness, rebuilt the transmission, installed new mercedes rotors and pads, changed the 02 sensor, fuel pump, water pump, mass air flow sensor, new KYB shocks and sensors. In addition the radiator was rebuilt, thermostat replaced, flushed ALL fluids, and recently changed the spark plugs and wires. Brand new tires installed less than a month ago as well. Also i restitched the steering wheel cover with a new one from Germany. Car is basically brand new the things it needs are very minor. There are some road chips and minor scratches that I am sure will come out with a good buffing or clay bar. I have most of the records as this has been in my family since 2009. This is a super rare car only 800 made and the all black on grey is even more rare. I have never seen another one like it and I am a mercedes collector especially the late 80s and early 90s coupes. This car is really built to last forever since it was the last of the hand builts. I hate so sell it but now my kids are growing and I need more garage space. It is in the shop now because the odometer stopped reading the RPM but its getting fixed. My dad and step mom used to drive this car from Houston to Florida twice a year with no issues. I planned on keeping the car forever since these are only going up in value due to limited production. In my opinion this car is over engineered for its time that why it was not a hot seller. Nowadays you see the new E Class convertibles everywhere but I guess in 1995 if you 80k to drop on a convertible you had to be somebody special.
