My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2007 Volvo S80 AWD with the optional 4.4L V8 engine. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan. It is finished in light blue over tan leather interior, which is a good color combination. The finish has a deep shine and looks as smooth as glass all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Volvo, the worst I can say is that there is a visible dent on the RR door. Please be sure to check each of the photos carefully. Aside from that, there is nothing noteworthy to report. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Volvo S80 to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards show well for their age and are tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The seats show some wear but are presentable for their age. The carpets also show a few marks from age. There is a plastic trim piece missing from inside the driver's door sill. Additionally, there is wear on the steering wheel and shifter knob that should be visible in the photos if you look closely. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather seats are supple and comfortable. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. Back seat room is generous and accommodates even tall passengers comfortably. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It's a little too cold to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively but everything seems to be in order and the heater works well. This S80 is equipped with the optional factory GPS navigation system which also appears to be working properly. The CD map set is updated as of 2015. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The optional 4.4L V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. I can occasionally hear a light rattle around the back but I cannot pinpoint it's source. My best guess would be maybe a broken exhaust hanger or maybe a little rubber bushing is showing some age. Regardless, it doesn't sound serious...just something I noticed while driving. The 4.4L V8 makes plenty of power and feels smooth. This is a seriously quick sedan. This is a chain driven engine so there is no timing belt service interval to worry about on the 4.4L V8. One thing I did notice while driving this Volvo is a light whirring sound, which sounds like one of the pulleys (most likely the idler / tensioner pulley). Again, it's not terribly loud and it doesn't sound super urgent...I just picked up on it and wanted to pass the information on to potential buyers. This S80 is an absolute pleasure to drive. I've personally put the last 100 miles on this car without a single complaint. There are a few idiot lights on. I believe the coolant level sensor is bad. The thing keeps telling me to add coolant but I've checked, re-checked and re-re-checked and the coolant level is fine. Also, the check engine light came on the one time I was driving it. I pulled the code and it things one of the variable cam's is not registering properly. It's most likely the little sensor. There are no drivability issues with the car. I've personally ran a whole tank of gas through it and this S80 is an absolute blast to drive. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The AWD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This is a beautiful sedan that feels at home regardless of what you're doing. It is easy to get around in town. On the highway, it has plenty of power and cruises effortlessly.
