This car has issues. I would not drive it until resolved. This is the issue. There is a clunk coming from the drivers side rear end. Its random but mainly on up shifts. Most times it does not shift smoothly. I had my regular mechanic look at the car and he says the rear end is leaking. He pulled codes on the car and it had SMG fault codes. He cleared them and they have not returned. This BMW is out of his expertise so he will not work on it. This car may or may not need a transmission soon. I'm no longer driving it. BMW dealer would probably recommend all new parts so I'm not going to go that route. I would just like to sell it AS IS. This means bring a trailer. I wouldn't buy this car and expect you to jump on the highway without a care. It needs work. I'm NOT going to bring it to your mechanic but feel free to bring him to me.
