First let me say that as of a couple of weeks ago I was not planning to sell my Eurovan and have put some new items into it: October 18, 2017 2 new front tires ($217)October 18, 2017 Uniroyal Tiger Paw AWP3 battery ($161)October 18, 2017 Wagner Front Brake Pads ($77)January 12, 2018 New muffler and pipe ($150) I started to have some issues with it around January 10th and took it to my local mechanic. At that time we noticed it needed a new exhaust system so had that replaced. During his exam of the van, he was not able to come up with the proper codes indicating why it was stalling out, not starting, etc. and suggested I take it to our local VW dealer. I had it towed to the local VW dealer and after various tests it was decided that the timing gear needed replaced. Due to the cost of this work I have decided to sell the van and hopefully someone can fix it, use for parts or whatever. I have owned the van for little over 7 years and basically have had no issues other than normal wear and tear replacements, oil changes, etc. I did take a picture of the headliner which was starting to peel off of the inside roof. Should be an easy fix. All of the seats are clean, no tears,etc. No body rust issues or repairs. Lastly the van will need some interior cleaning, carpets mainly since I was not planning to sell this van, I really have not taken the time to clean the interior properly. It will have to be towed or shipped to buyer since it probably will not go any real distance without issues. I was able to drive it from the dealer to my home which was about 5 miles and it did stop running a few times during this short trip.On Feb-02-18 at 03:50:11 PST, seller added the following information: I just noticed that the passenger door is acting up. Opens fine from outside but not from inside. Suppose something with the latch.
