Up for auction is my 2013 Mercedes Benz SLK55 AMG in Mars Red with Black Interior with 8005 miles. Bought in March of 2015 from the dealer in Seattle, WA as a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) car - at the time it had 4749 miles. Fully serviced in March 2017 by the Mercedes Benz dealer here. Used lightly all along with no issues other than replacing the battery in March of 2017 with new OEM as the charging was not acting as expected - dealer tested everything and diagnosed the battery so it was replaced. Everything is working as it should. Fully optioned with the AMG P30 option (enhanced brakes, suspension, steering wheel, wheels and tires, etc.). Also includes the Magic Sky electronically dimming panoramic roof, Keyless Go, Air Scarf, ParkTronic, Bi-Xenon, full multi-media with Sirius Satellite radio & iPod, etc, etc. For some reason the original owner didn't get the dual-zone climate control module which is all this car lacks. Has the optional factory all weather mats and trunk mat as shown in the pictures - the original AMG carpeted mats were new when delivered in 2015 and have been stored so never used. A Smart Top module was added that allows the folding hard-top to operate with the key fob from a distance as well as put the top up or down at speeds to about 30mph. Both fobs, all the paperwork and so on as you'd expect. Factory CPO warranty just expired but a $0 deductible USAA Assurant extended warranty was purchased in 2015 that is transferrable as long as the car is sold to an individual. That goes through 3/31/2021 or about 3 years and 2 months from now - that was $2075 in 2015. The Assurant warranty includes substitute transportation, travel/lodging reimbursement, and roadside assistance. If you want the details for this please contact me through the eBay system and I'll provide them. The original tires are about half gone and have good life yet - see the pictures. There is a small scratch on the passenger side (not really noticeable unless you are close) of the front fender (see the second from the last picture) that I sanded out and re-polished - it may well be able to be blended in with some clear-coat as it didn't get under the color Probably about $1500 for a new set of tires and re-spray for the fender (if desired). The minimum bid is set for $35,250 with no reserve which is the loan payoff and the fee to transfer the warranty. Even with new tires and the scratch repair that's way below the market value - saves me having to make 2 or 3 more payments until spring. Mercedes still makes this car (with a V6) - with all these bells and whistles its about 80K - so this is less than half with 8005 miles and a 3+ year warranty plus a lot less property tax, at least here in VA. The car is financed through USAA and a $2000 deposit is required within 3 days of the auction end. That allows you time to inspect and test drive (or have inspected and driven) to commit to the car - therefore the deposit is non-refundable once made. At that point I'll payoff the loan to get the title and complete the sale - I expect that'll take about a week. I would much prefer a local sale (the car is also for sale locally so the auction may end at any time) so it can be inspected and test drive.
