Vehicle Detail

1965 Mustang ConvertibleOriginally a 6 Cylinder, 3 Speed car. there is no Motor, though the Transmission Still Present. Car is actually in very good shape metal-wise- I'll do my best to cover everything: This is some surface rust on the undercarriage of the car, but structurally there are no issues. If you see a rust spot on any pics, it's surface... i can't find any rust holes or soft spots in the exterior panels. Quarters: Good and solid- have filler from a previous repaint- I'm unable to get into the trunk at the moment- but from underneath things look great. Wheel lips are solid. inners are solid. trunk surrounding gas tank solid. Trunk and rear valances: Solid Doors: Solid - the Passenger Door Latch needs oiled... sometime you have to slam it to get it to engage. Glass is all good. Windows all work. Top: All the hardware is there. Rear window is shot. top will need replaced, but isn't threadbare. would probably go up and down but i haven't tried it. Windshield: Has "wiper marks" i'd replace it, but it's not broken. Air inlet below windshield has surface rust on grates. Hood: Solid. Small spots or surface rust underneath, but nothing major. Shock towers: Solid- No rust or holes. Front Fenders: Good and solid. Maybe surface rust underneath. Front Frame Structure is good. Rear Structures are good. Leaf perches are good. There is no sag in the car when you sit in it. Floors: There are two holes on either side of the inner rockers in/near the flat spots on the floor. The Drivers side is the worst part. Not a huge problem to repair. By far the worst part of the car. Other than that, Rockers are solid and floors seem to be good. There has to be some pinholes in there somewhere, but i was under it for a while poking around with a screwdriver looking for soft spots and didn't see any. All of the wiring harnesses are present- all of the interior is present... it't not destroyed by any means, but I'd recover and restore everything. There is a large piece or wonderful 1975 house carpet in the car, instead of the normal type. There is no extra charge for this, despite how amazing it is. Tires hold air- car rolls freely. Other than the passenger door, everything opens and closes as one would expect. I don't have a key to the ignition, or trunk so there are some unknown there. Its under cover outdoors at the moment, there's 4" of snow on the ground, and i Don't feel like drilling it out. It's Probably full of gold bullion or something. Whatever. Anyway, It's a very solid little car for a restoration. If i had any more time than i do, I'd drop a motor in it, do the brakes, get the mice out of it, and drive it. It's that complete. Sorry For the lack of photos: I'll try to post more if the snow recedes. Also, Vehicle is for sale Locally, I reserve the right the end the auction at any time for a local sale. Non- refundable Paypal Deposit of 500 Due at auction Close, Prefer Cash Balance on pickup. Thank you for your interest! This vehicle does not have the correct title, so i am offering it you a buyer with a Bill of sale. Have any specific questions, you can text - three three zero - four nine five- three seven five six and i'll do my best to answer.
