Vehicle Detail

1970 Plymouth Cuda original 440 six pack, 4 speed, dana rear, shaker hood car. Factory hemi orange. . This is a project car not a driver. Not a rust bucket. Has been kept indoors since the mid-early 1990's. It has been stripped down and body covered in epoxy primer. The good.... body has had no body damage or major rust. I did not strip the fenders. I took down the paint on the doors to original paint. Drivers door decal still attached showing vin number. Wanted to make sure I could get new door sticker before I removed it. Options are BS23 built at LA plant E87 440 six pack D21 4 speed hemi trans EV2 hemi orange paint H6XW trim white high bucket seats 000 Full door panels VIW Top color A33 Track pack dana with 3.54 A62 Rallye instrument package aka 150 mph tic toc dash C55 bucket seats G36 dual racing mirrors J253 speed wipers J45 Hood tie down pins J81 Rear spoiler wing type M21, M25, M31 and M88 all moulding options N41 dual exhaust N42 chrome exhaust tips N85 Tachometer N96 Fresh air hood R22Am radio with 8 track V1W no idea what this was V5W Body side stripes White 26 26" radiator I do not have engine for it. I searched and it is long gone. I have a hemi 4 speed that came with the car disassembled. I bought missing tail shaft for it will check to see if it has the vin on it. 4 speed is not assembled. No drive shaft. Original dana 60 is gone... now rolling on an 8 3/4" rear end. But I do know where the original rear end is and who owns it. The bad.... It was set up for drag racing kinda before I bought it. It had roll cage, ladder bars and wheelie bar mounts added. I removed the roll cage, ladder bars ect. Rear end had ladder bar mounts and wheelie bar mounts welded to it. Was just going to buy a new one for it instead of trying to cut off the things. It does have welded in sub frame connectors...so if you want original floor pan would need to be replaced. The roof has a couple oilcan style dents. It can be fixed I did not have the talent at the time to fix them. They can be fixed without replacing the roof. I do have the original shaker hood, bubble, and aircleaner for it. Still have Pistol Grip 4 speed shifter.. but one of the linkage points needs to be repaired. Have the deck lid and original wing. Have the two original white bucket seats.. and a spare green one. To fix drivers seat rail. Have rear bottom seat. might have the upper. Seats need to be recovered re cushioned. I have lots of interior parts interior parts aren't show quality... but could be restored. I have bumpers not show quality. I have the grill buckets aint bad but center of grill would be cheaper to replace than fix imo. I have so many boxes of parts for it. I saved everything I could when I took it apart. I have all the glass plus a new windshield. Will modify add as I go through the boxes. Will update add in a couple days. No I do not have a build sheet for the car. It was built at the Los Angeles plant. Most of the time they just tossed out the sheets when they were done. But yes I have the original dash and fender tags. Working on getting pictures. Will update asap. Sorry for no photos... they will be coming tomorrow after work. Had emergency today could not get pictures. will be posting lots of pics tomorrow and over the weekend. Really straight car... not perfect but nice. Pictures coming Friday. I have burned before on non paying bidders. Please don't be one. I have good feedback because I describe honestly. Serious bidders please contact me about shipping. first on how you are going to transport it. We had lots of snow and my alley is narrow. Will measure my alley width Friday Thank you.On Jan-05-18 at 19:33:50 PST, seller added the following information: Sorry about fuzzy photos... did not know camera lens was scratched. Will retake pictures tomorrow with better camera maybe tonight. I was wrong about the grill extention it is not new or nos.. just a real nice one that was painted black. Nice and straight. Grill aint as bad as I remembered. But it is cracked and would need work. Trying to get my other camera fired up and working. Sorry about that. I do have full set of white seats front and back. Have lots of boxes to unpack. Forgot how much chrome parts and trim I bought. Going to be bust tonight and all weekend taking pics and listing all the stuff with it. Thank you for being patient. I haven't worked on car in 20 plus years. On Jan-05-18 at 19:38:27 PST, seller added the following information: Shifter hole was cut out for after market hurst shifter. I do have the original pistol grip. the area where z-bar mount is was notched for some reason. Getting a better camera fired up to retake pics.On Jan-06-18 at 03:32:26 PST, seller added the following information: Ebay wont let me replace my fuzzy pics with new clear ones. That's sad. Will add a link to photobucket or something with better clear pictures. Still have lots more pics to add.... stay tuned. Need to get to sleep.. will create a link to photobucket in morning so everyone interested can see nice clear pics. thank you.On Jan-06-18 at 20:41:06 PST, seller added the following information: Sorry for the wait. Here is link to better pictures... this better work. Not a computer guy. Took long time to do this. http://tinypic.com/a/bdntw9/1 Now back to the ratcave to move it and jack it up on stands for under side pictures. Plus unload the parts in the trunk and photos of trunk. Taking pictures of interior panels I have. Have full set of white panels.. and a set of blue ones. Blue ones came with another car I bought. Will take pics of the rear seats. Forgot I have extra stock front drum brake setup. This one had 3" race studs installed for wheels. I have stock rear backing plates and drums for a dana. The rear under it is just a 8 3/4 to roll it. Will take pics of fender tag and number on rad support trunk lip ect. Back to work for me. This link better work.On Jan-08-18 at 20:04:43 PST, seller added the following information: Added even more new pictures. Over 100 pictures here. http://tinypic.com/useralbum.php?ua=D7x2Y0a1KM5pPinp%2F7Pusoh4l5k2TGxcOn Jan-09-18 at 18:18:44 PST, seller added the following information: The shaker bubble edge had a small piece of the edge on passenger broke off. It was partially filled in with jb to make sure it sealed to base plate. Shaker bubble was used temporarily on another cuda with a fiber glass hood and the fiberglass hood did rub on the drivers side of bubble a little. That could be filled in easy. Shaker adapter ring was notched in two places on the back for some reason in the past. No idea why. Has metal welded back in to make it seal and functional. Adapter ring does have some rust pitting. Adapter ring would need better repair to make it look nice. I do have the ring that mounts to top of the hood. It has two studs broken off. I do not have the hot or cold air doors or cables for it. I wish I did. I have more boxes to go through... but cant remember ever seeing the doors or cables. No idea why they would be taken off. If I find the shaker doors or cables will let you know. I don't have rear valance for back where exhaust goes through. I have the front but its pretty rough. Getting a good sleep tonight to take more pictures tomorrow. Thank you for being patient. Please ask any questions. If I don't respond. Please resend question.. some of my responses have not been going though and message failed. On Jan-10-18 at 17:45:18 PST, seller added the following information: The vin on radiator support and cowl in front of windshield match the vin.. I have pictures of them in the pictures link. The shiny paint makes it hard for my camera to pick up and get a good focus. I might strip the paint off if need be to get a good focus on the numbers. There is supposed to be a vin on the trunk lip but I do not know where on the lip it is supposed to be. The epoxy primer was a little thick there, might have filled in the numbers. Could some someone help me out and tell me exactly where on the trunk lip the vin would be? I don't want to scrape or strip the epoxy primer off the entire trunk lip. Epoxy primer is tough and hard to remove. There is a picture in the link of the rear trunk panel. you can see the original orange under the blue over spray. I will scrape primer off and get pi if someone can tell me where it is. I am 99.9% positive the trunk panel has not been replaced. Thank you, Robert. On Jan-10-18 at 22:25:13 PST, seller added the following information: Got hit by another snowstorm had to move snow but got more pictures and info. Transmission case number does not have correct vin on it. Thought it was original. Here's the numbers on the case... 9B277605 PP8332719 0098 casting number on case is H4 99129. The guts are correct 18 spline and teeth are not broken. Been 25 years since I worked on car... never did get around to work on the trans. Took better pics of passenger rear quarter. No rust on lower part. Just a lima bean hole up near where rear bumper comes into it. Front window had some pitting and pinholes in lower left and right of windshield channel. Started to fill pinholes with a mig welder... never got it finished and car has sat 25 years. Added pictures. Got another camera that takes better close ups. will retake pics tomorrow. Framerails, torsions bar area, trunks extensions, floor, firewall, ect. the areas that usual get hit with rust are still good. Plaese ask any questions. Ebay email system een kicking back emails as undeliverable. So will add responses here in revisions. Not sure why their email is goofing up. Car can be viewed in person if interested. I don't want any unhappy buyers. Weather is crappy here but happy to show the car. Thanks I do have all the glass. Windshield was cracked... have a brand new tinted one for it.On Jan-10-18 at 23:07:29 PST, seller added the following information: I do not have a bell housing for the transmission. But I do have a billet flywheel and new clutch plate which I think is a Centerforce. Will look to see if there is a number on it to confirm it. On Jan-12-18 at 23:27:34 PST, seller added the following information: If you have any questions please ask them. I am responding to them all. Having problem with ebays email system. It sucks. It says email sent then a few minutes later in my yahoo email I get message Returned email mailer-daemon. So I don't know if people are getting my replies. Would be nice if ebay let me give my phone number. I work as a mechanic, welder, fabricator and machinist. I don't sit behind a desk and my typing skills suck. Faster for me to talk on the phone. Ebay really needs to allow sellers to give out phone number. But I can see the email address the ebay tried to send to. I will resend message to that email from my regular yahoo email account. Been fighting the email issue for hours. I should be in garage taking more pictures. There will be more pictures on the pictures link in the morning. I can store the car until weather warms up. Snow is supposed to stop Saturday. Temperature is supposed to get above zero...... weeeeeee. On the loading or pickup... my alley behind garage is 10' 4" wide. It T-bones into the main alley going the other way. A pickup and single car enclosed trailer should be able to get in for loading car and all the parts but have to back up to get out. Option b would be towing it to the street in front of my place for loading the car. Then carrying the boxes of parts to the front. I can get it done one way or the other. Loading in alley would be easier. Thanks for being patient. Done with work for the week. Will be here all weekend taking pictures and answering questions. Thank you. On Jan-14-18 at 09:46:07 PST, seller added the following information: I added more pictures to the picture link. http://tinypic.com/useralbum.php?ua=D7x2Y0a1KM5pPinp%2F7Pusoh4l5k2TGxc no trunk latch. But have part of the hood latch. Missing the piece between the hood latch and rad support and the latch that bolts to the hood. Lots of chrome parts. On Jan-14-18 at 10:15:37 PST, seller added the following information: I am still getting returned email messages from ebay. So answering questions here. Yes it was originally a white vinyl top car. Prior owner removed vinyl top. I have no trim for the vinyl top. I contacted the owner of the dana 60 that was under this car and he said he would consider selling it and gave me permission to give his contact info to the buyer of this car. It is located in Connecticut. I live in Montana. I have all the glass for the car. Original windshield was cracked. I have a brand new windshield for it. I have the regulators for the glass. And door handles. On Jan-14-18 at 10:57:31 PST, seller added the following information: One thing I have not found is the taillights. I would not have thrown them away. But have moved a couple times over the last 25 years. They should be here but have yet to find them. Trying to find them.
