The brakes are soft but do not pull to one side. Battery recently replaced (I believe it has a bad ground due to the previous owner installing an aftermarket radio). The only reason I do not daily drive this car is the carburetor spits fireballs. The linkage may need adjusting or maybe replace the carb. Vacuum lines need to be replaced.Call me with questions serious bidders only. (804) 482-1224On Dec-30-17 at 22:36:19 PST, seller added the following information: Just to be clear and answer a few questions - I have a reserve on this car because I have local low ball offer which I feel the car has more value than the low ball offer. The Mustang is NOT running at this time - I do not feel comfortable driving or starting the car with it shooting fireballs through the carb. It will need to be towed unless you know how to start up a car with a bad carburetor.Still the car is near 50 years old and this was never meant to be a show car just a fun daily. On Dec-31-17 at 13:56:31 PST, seller added the following information: To answer a few more questions I have received - the car has been repainted from its original lime gold to a race red (badly over-sprayed and dull) to the tuxedo black that you now see. It is not perfect but I have been happy with it for the 10 years I have owned it.On Jan-01-18 at 06:56:41 PST, seller added the following information: Reserve is set at $6000 which is more than the low ball offer I received locally.
