Up for sale is a 2004 Ford Escape XLT in great driving condition. The car drives very well with no issues, having had the tires replaced about a year ago, a new transmission put in within the past year, and regular maintenance routinely performed. The car was rear ended earlier this month and while there is no noticeable damage to the exterior of the car, the back door has trouble locking entirely shut and the rear spare tire well has been raised up. The car sustained no internal damage that would affect how it functions, the airbags did not deploy, and you would never be able to tell it was hit by looking at it. Despite this, the other driver's insurance company chose not to pay for repairs to the car. While the car still drives incredibly well and I would love to keep using it, the other insurance unfortunately is salvaging it so I am forced to sell. This car would be an exceptional car for beginner drivers, anyone looking for an inexpensive commuting car, or anyone looking to just scrap it and retain thousands of dollars worth of parts (new transmission, interior parts, etc). The exterior of this car still looks very nice with just a few minor cosmetic flaws here and there. The interior looks incredible with no really noticeable cosmetic flaws. The backseat is NOT missing the headrests, they were just taken off while the photos were taken. The front seat has a leather seat cover on it to help keep in place the bottom of the drivers seat. The bottom portion of the seat is loose and while this poses no safety issues nor any inconveniences while driving, it got a bit annoying going in and out of the car.
