Vehicle Detail

Very rare, 'split bumper' MGB. The split bumper was only built in 1970. Highly desirable and rare overdrive. Very solid car. More details to follow. Feel free to ask questions. The following work was done by the previous owner: new ignition wires, distributor cap, rotor button, spark plugs, oil change and filter. New upper and lower radiator hoses, new coolant. New battery, alternator, fan belt, fuel pump. New DVG Webber carb, original SU carbs are in the trunk and in great shape. New front brake rotors, pads, hoses. New oil cooler and SS hoses. Awesome SS exhaust. Previous owner stated that the engine was rebuilt. I have no documentation of that but I believe that to be true from a visual inspection of the engine. New seats in the correct pattern. New, chrome seatbelt with aircraft style latches. Awesome, aftermarket stereo. While I have done my best to describe the car, I highly recommend you inspect the vehicle yourself and send someone you trust. Car is sold 'as-is'. Please take the time to read the description. I see no evidence of rust or previous repairs. Paint is ok but there are bound to br blemishes on the paint on a nearly-50 year old car. Again, I strongly encourage interested parties to examine the car for themselves. While I've tried to describe the car to the best of my abilities, I am not an expert. If you are bidding on this car sight unseen it is your responsibility to determine the condition of the vehicle. On Dec-22-17 at 16:32:58 PST, seller added the following information: Bidders!! Take the time to read the description. It will save us both a lot of time. If you're not familiar with how Ebay works then please read up on how it works. If there is a reserve and it hasn't been met then the listing will show that. If there was a reserve and it was met then the listing will reflect that. In short, don't ask what my reserve is/was and what it will take to buy the vehicle now. Jump in there and bid to your hearts content. You decide what you're willing to pay. If you're bidding on this vehicle then it is YOUR responsibility to determine the condition of the vehicle. Pictures and a written description are not the same as actually inspecting the car firsthand. Please note that this vehicle is being sold 'AS-IS'. To date exactly ONE person has taken the time to phone me. Not a single person has seen the car for themselves. Yes, yes, yes, I purchased this car on EBay myself not long ago. I am NOT a dealer. Why I am selling the car after owning it a short time should certainly not raise any 'red flags' as someone has suggested. Happy bidding!
