10 Second Therapy 1999 Corvette Street Show car / Drag w/ NOS assist - $14,900 10 Second Therapy - 1 of a Kind -- Street / Drag car 1999 C5. second owner, was bought this from a local Chevrolet dealership back in 1999, the original buyer didn't like the paint orange peel shortly after purchasing it. The dealer got tired of hearing him complain so they bought it back. I bought it and quickly buffed and polished the torch red paint with amazing results. His lose was my gain. That's a funny story as this car's finish is nothing short of amazing as the trophies prove. One of the finest award quality finishes seen anywhere. Amazing what some good locally made polish and a buffer can do. I purchased it in December of 1999 I believe. It does that well. built the motor to handle Nitrous. With the pneumatic controlled Direct Port Nitrous system installed, this car will pull like a Hell Fire missile. Best run was a 10.42 ET @ 130 mph. But when it is not activated, it is just a damn fast C5, On the motor alone, 11.7 ET ¼ mile was the best, but that was with timing taken out as I would run the motor only the first few passes before activating the Nitrous. It is an 11.5 second car on the motor with the appropriate timing as it is tuned now. It was one of the first C5's to be in the 10's. It is truly 10 Second Therapy. As my local drag strip was shut down, Carlsbad Raceway, just mainly used the car on the street taking it out every month or so, going to car shows or just cruising, left the the Nitrous system sit dormant. It has been 6 years since turned the nos on but everything is still there to bring it in the 10's again. It is not a quiet car, but if you are worried about that I have the stock exhaust with a set of after market mufflers shown in the banner image that are much quieter. I have it tuned for street use right now, but can be switched out anytime with a Nitrous tune up whenever you so desire. The car has never seen rain, no accidents, no abuse and always kept in my garage for 17 years.
