Greetings, For sale is my 2006 VW TDI Golf. Golf is in excellent mechanical shape and is currently on the road. I have owned the car since it had 25K miles from the original owners. Golf has a/c, sunroof, heated seats, ESC traction control. Over the time I have owned the car I have got about 42-46 mpg. This golf was not affected by the recent VW diesel recall. At 110K I had the suspension rebuild completely which included all front end parts and I upgraded the suspension to Bilstein HD struts and shocks I also lifted the car 1.5" all the way around with factory VW spacers to cope with the snowy New England roads. I changed the oil every 5K with Total Oil and VW filters and o-rings. Timing belt was changed at 110K and I changed the glow plugs at 130K. Interior is gray cloth and is in good shape. Golf has no rust and has one small shopping cart dent on the drivers side passengers door no paint missing just a dent. Car has rubber winter mats and the original cloth mats included. I also changed the plastic head light lenses with german glass lenses that will never fade or yellow and they look fantastic compared with the originals. Also tires are very good shape and I had the factory wheels stripped and powered coated. Vehicle mileage is 179,254 and will go up slightly as the car is still on the road. Vehicle is sold as is and no warranty is implied. My reason for selling the car is I needed more space and got a VW Sportwagen TDI to replace the golf. Fog lights in pictures will be removed prior to sale. *In the vehicle report you will notice a odometer beyond mechanical limits. This was a NH DMV clerk error. I bought the car from a VT resident and I was a NH resident but lived with my wife in NY. I was deploying with the Navy to the Persian Gulf the week I bought the car. While I was at the registry the clerk checked the box vehicle beyond mechanical limits. She said no erasures were allowed on the title so I would have to get a new title from the original owner in VT to get this fixed, that was not happening in the time frame I was working with and my wife was a resident of NY so could not file this paperwork so it stood. The odometer is electronic and has no mechanical limits and goes to 7 decimal places. If this is a worry to you the mileage can be verified by any VW dealer electronically.
