Up for Auction is a 1969 Jaguar XKE, E-type S2 Roadster. Most of the metal fabrication has already been carried out. New floors and rockers have been fitted, the firewall is prefect. The door skins have been hung but do require final fit up. Inside the boot area looks very good and the boot floor has been cut out and is ready for the new one. The engine frames look good. The car does have its hood, however this has not been refurbished yet. The engine is free and the car rolls. I have checked through all the parts and it all appears to be there. All the parts seem to be in very good shape. The seats and centre consol are particularly in good shape. Sadly the guy restoring this sort after classic car past away whilst restoring it. He was a well respected British car specialist in Southern California. Therefore the work carried out appears to have been done to a very high standard. The car is currently located in Southern California with a Classics Jaguar restorer/specialist who collected the car and stored it for me. With some of the expensive work already carried out, this project provides a good opportunity to get into this much desired make and model for a realist price.
