83 Goldwing This bike has been thoroughly gone thru and reconditioned. New Timing belts, carbs cleaned, rear shocks rebuilt. New seals, bushings and wipes installed on the front forks. New O rings in the anti- dive section of the front forks. New 15 weight fork oil installed in the front forks. Am/Fm radio, CB and intercom are all functional. Wiring repaired as needed… new blade style fuse panel replacing the old bus fuse panel that were subject to catch fire. LED Lights in the front faring. The headlight housing is new and a new LED headlight. Starter motor was torn apart and cleaned, lubed and gears greased. New starter relay is included. Stator connectors were removed and the wires soldered to ensure good charging. New DEKA glass mat battery and battery cable was installed last month and has a 1 year warranty (receipt will be passed included). New throttle cables. Upgraded louder than stock horns were also installed. The saddlebag lids, front fender and rear fender tip were professionally painted and striped to original. New non-oem rubber seals on the saddle bags (actually better than OEM). The rest of the paint has been buffed and waxed. The cam belt covers, valve covers, fuel pump and other aluminum engine parts were hand buffed to a mirror finish. New brake pads were installed all around, new fluid in both the front and rear brake systems. Rear master cylinder was rebuilt. Right front and rear dual calipers were rebuilt. New caliper pistons on rear caliper. Rear axle gear oil replaced, gear greased, radiator was serviced by the local radiator shop. Thermostat is new. Antifreeze is Honda and is new. The air pump was serviced (ie: the drying agent was refreshed). There are many new hoses throughout the bike. New spark plugs were installed. Tool kit is included but am not sure if it is the correct one. Original owner’s manual included. There are 2- 4 bulb each, very bright LED strobe lights on either side of the license plate. They flash when the brakes are applied. I realize that they are not a stock item but rather a safety feature in today’s riding world. New LED Flasher installed. Fresh oil change and filter with synthetic motorcycle oil. New Dunlop tires that are bead balanced. This bike does not have the typical smoke at startup that is common with this engine. Also the bike starts with no choke and just breathing on the starter switch. The bike runs strong and smooth so I saw no need to balance the carbs. I have ridden the bike from The Villages, Florida to North Ocala and Daytona Beach with no problems. Comes with the original pair of keys as well as some extras. One key fits all locks. Also a full tank of non-methanol fuel, 86 octane. Stable blue and some Sea Foam have also been added. There is some pitting on the left and right chrome carburetor stay plates. Exhaust has some dulling. The original odometer showed 46,000 miles. Unfortunately, I needed to replace it. The new odometer shows 55,000 miles. Title states unknown miles. I will include the original gauge set. Bike comes with some additional parts and a notebook detailing some repair procedures and installation instructions on the radio, cb and intercom installation. This is a truly exceptional motorcycle that I would ride just about anywhere. Please keep in mind that the bike is indeed 34 years old. Bike has a clean Florida title, in my name. It is registered and plated in Florida as an Antique Vehicle. You are encouraged to come, look and ride (must have a MC endorsement on your license) the bike before bidding.
