Here is a nice little time capsule. I tore this thing down and sand blasted the cases and repainted them with the correct Honda Cloud Silver paint. The motor has new rings in the standard bore cylinder.It has new OEM grips and footpeg rubbers. New reproduction fork boots,cables,and kick starter and seat cover. Also,rebuilt the carburetor and installed all new brakes. The frame was blasted and painted as was everything else. It turned out very very nice indeed. It has good compression and runs 50cc strong. I did reuse the handlebars and forks rather than replacing them with new "shiny" chrome due to the cost but the OEM ones are decent. Now,here is what I know the bike needs. The shifter has to be nudged back into the center position. It shifts into both gears,you just have to move the shift lever back to the middle to shift again. It will need some points eventually. I rode it today for the first time but I know the one's in it are not real good. 2nd gear jumps some under a load. I should have researched this before assembling it but I am not taking it all back apart. The rear fender was broken slightly. I repaired the plastic and it looks pretty good. Hopefully it will hold up well. Everything else is in great shape and the bike looks great. If you want it shipped,make the arrangements and I will load it up. You pay shipping of course. Also included is another QA50 parts bike. This one is a 1970 I believe and would be a restoration candidate or use for spare parts.
