Up for auction is one of our project cars. This Fairlane is quite solid for what it is. Certainly a very good start for a project car. It is nearly complete, the trunk is full of extra parts including most of the sheet metal needed to fix the body. The frame is very good and solid and the floor only has a few spots that would need to be patched. The title is clear and ready to transfer. The car has 76,429 miles and 75,xxx on the last inspection sticker from 1978. That leaves me to believe that the 76.429 is actual miles. The title however says EXEMPT, which can be due to age or because it is over 100k. So as far as the auction is concerned I am listing it as 179k miles. The car has a 351W in it that is not completely installed. Someone stopped halfway through the swap. Car does not run or drive and has no brakes the way it is. Must be towed. The interior is nearly 100% complete. All of the glass is there and good and all of the trim is in decent shape. The auction starts well below what we paid for this car (we paid over $3,000) simply because we have to free up garage space. All transfers could be done in house upon pickup and buyer is responsible for all associated transfer fees. This car needs to be trailered to its destination. We are willing to deliver within 200 miles for $1.75 per mile plus any tolls. All paperwork can be done onsite when vehicle is paid for and the buyer is responsible for any document and state fees.
