Vehicle Detail

My family was stationed in Japan (USAF) during my HS years in the late '60's. Honda 90's were selling like hot cakes back home for around $400 as I remember. They could be had for about $160 where we were and brought home with household goods at the time we left Japan. A good number of the kids at school putted around the area on one...of course, not me. So when I found this one for sale nearby I bought it and spent the past 2+ years rebuilding it. There were tons of the "Cub" model and as many "Super 90's" imported to the U.S. As I remember, not near as many "Scrambler 90's" were available. Same engine and gearbox as the S90 but with better styling of the tank and exhaust pipe. My favorite. I sent the engine/gearbox to a specialty shop in California, a small business of a retired machinist, for complete overhaul. New parts: Needs: Left handlebar signals and horn switch Left mirror Chain and sprocket Fork boots Front and Rear tires and tubes Turn signals Rt brake lever and Lt clutch lever Clutch cable and throttle cable Fuel tank shutoff valve Battery I have run it only about 25 break-in miles and it can be run as is or can be restored, needing polishing of the spokes and chrome and paint on the frame. The tank has a knee dent on the right side and needs the services of a paintless dent repair. The muffler is sound. Electricals work. It has plenty of power...okay, its a 90....and will do 60+ mph just like in 1968. Included in the sale is a Honda overhaul manual and a Haul-Master 2" receiver mount motorcycle carrier. One of the photos shows the chromed skid plate that I did not install. I'm downsizing and have a couple more cars to rebuild before its too late and offer this antique to a good home. I have an Oklahoma title but it is out of date. Bill of sale too if you like. On Oct-30-17 at 20:58:20 PDT, seller added the following information: A questions was asked concerning the title and the tank. The title was assigned and notarized to me 9-16 but I did not have it changed. I was not intending to use it on the road. The tank is a replacement for the original which was badly rusted internally. This one has a little surface rust inside but the fuel is not contaminated with loose rust. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ggVm2evIkI&feature=youtu.be
