This truck is most likely the cleanest and well taken care of trucks of this kind around. Since day one it has had seat covers, dash mat, and oversized floor mats - the interior is just as it was new. My folks purchased it when they were in their 60s to pull a 25' Terry fifth wheel that weighed about 6,000 lbs, it immediately had performance exhaust, a tuner for towing, cold air intake, battery warmers, block heaters, and a turbo saver installed. The turbo saver allows it to run before you leave with it or after you park for set amounts of time to warm up or cool down - he used this feature religiously. The truck has been set for towing since the program from the tuner was loaded, it does not smoke and has never been over-fueled to do so. It was never used as a grocery getter, they had plenty of other cars and trucks for those short around town runs - this was used to travel distances 9 out of 10 times with a trailer. The fuel mileage is really good also with no sacrifice to the horsepower and torque. This is one of the few trucks of these years that doesn't leak oil all over the place either, I keep it in a shop with several of my other cars with a really nice floor - i never have to worry about cleaning up after it when we use it. It has been maintained meticulously mechanically by the local Ford dealer by their house as well as by a local diesel shop that has been in business here forever, this is also the shop that installed the modifications. They do have records available for all of the work done to the truck over the years which includes the routine maintenance as well. If the truck ever needed anything it received it. Cosmetically they took care if it themselves washing it, waxing it, vacuuming it, and other maintenance like that, it shows. All necessary services have been kept up and the truck is ready to drive anywhere, as it always has been.
