My name is Joe and I sell vehicle differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very rare 2003 Acura 3.2CL Type-S with a six speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this Acura to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking coupe. It is finished in Anthracite over Black leather sport interior, which is a good color combination. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this Acura, the worst I can say is that the paint is faded on spots of the roof and trunk...nothing bad for an older car. All of the body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels are painted gray to match the exterior, and they look good. The tires have average tread all around. The only corrosion I could find were a few bubbles under the paint over the RR tire. This 3.2CL has upgrades all around. As you can see, the suspension has been upgraded with lowering springs, which give this coupe an aggressive stance. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this 3.2CL to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show well for their age and are full looking throughout the interior. A full set of carpet floor mats and a set of rubber all weather floor mats are included. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The deeply bolstered leather sport seats show well for their age and are comfortable. The driver's seat shows some normal wear, but nothing bad...please see photos. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. This 3.2CL has the factory touch screen GPS navigation system, which appears to be working properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Being a full sized coupe, access to the rear seats is surprisingly easy and there is an impressive amount of room for rear passengers (which is saying something, considering I am 6' tall). The trunk is spacious and clean. There is a bunch of audio equipment in the trunk. It looks to be a speaker box with subwoofers and an amplifier. There is also something that looks to be a DVD player...but I don't know what that's for. Mechanically, this 3.2CL appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.2L DOHC VTEC V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. I noticed it does pull some to the right, which is not unusual for a vehicle with altered suspension. I would take it in and have the alignment redone. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. This is a quick, quick car. This Acura looks to have a few performance upgrades, too. I can see a cold air intake and underdrive pullies up top. It looks like the stock exhaust has been upgraded from front to back. The exhaust is clearly aftermarket and sounds good. The factory exhaust manifolds look to have been replaced with tubular headers. You can hear a small exhaust leak under the car, which is common to find on a lowered car. The best part of this 3.2CL is that it has the six speed manual transmission, which is super rare and really wakes this car up. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the six speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. This 3.2CL is an absolute blast to drive. I can probably count on one hand the number of these I've seen in person with a manual transmission...and I see a lot of cars. This six speed 3.2CL Type-S is definitely a unicorn. If you've had your eye out for one of these, bid with confidence and bid to own. I've been doing this for 8 years and this is the first one I've ever gotten my hands on. For those customers who plan to have their vehicle shipped or cannot make it in person within 7 days, you may also pay for your vehicle by Certified Check or Bank-To-Bank Wire Transfer. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description. Because we sell with NO RESERVE, we have no way to control how much (if any) money we make per vehicle. This fee helps us isolate a few of our fixed, per transaction expenses in a way that is fair to everyone.
