This is the last year of the C3 body style (nicknamed the "Mako Shark") before they went to the C4 wedge. This was also the first year for the "Cross-Fire Injection", which is still working great. In fact, Varley's Auto & Performance (Street Outlaws OKC) - who has performed all of the maintenance and repairs I've had done on my "Silver Fox" - says it's in excellent condition and purring like a kitten. The body and paint look great with some small blemishes in a few of places, and the interior still has that unique Corvette smell - even 35 years later! Mirrored glass T-tops, red leather interior and a CD player (obviously that is not original). It even has working A/C (although I'm not sure it's currently charged). I replaced the tires (original rims), battery, fuel pump and fuel filter, radiator and bushings. Recently had the injectors and fuel tank cleaned and the lines blown out from the throttle body. It has power seats, windows and locks. I also have some of the receipts for repairs and maintenance from the previous owners. I hate to let go of this car - it is my FIRST Corvette - but I need the garage space for my NEW one :) See the attached research from hagerty.com and cars.com showing a high retail of about $24,000 (seems kinda high but I'd take it). Another report on high milage '82 Vettes (although mine is LOW mileage) show they sell from $15K to $20K! With under 81,000 miles, and an "excellent condition" blessing from Varley's, this car would be a great buy. Clean title and clean car!
