1970 BMW r60/5 for sale. I purchased this bike from the original owner that bought this BMW new in Baltimore, Maryland in 1970. This motorcycle is a great example of a r60/5. It has original rare Enduro hard bags and the matching rack. I did have it running well before, but it will need to be gone through before being road ready. The tires and the petcocks were replaced in 2014 when I purchased the bike. The bike still has the original tool kit, the tire pump and BMW shop towel. The bike has all original manuals and documentation. Cosmetically the bike is in pretty nice shape and the seat is still soft and there are no tears in the seat. With a little work, this could be a very nice, solid r60/5. I am selling this motorcycle because I have too many projects and not enough time. Please look at the photos and ask any questions.
