Up for sale is my 1980 Honda CM200T Twinstar. I have owned it for 7 years and i'm the 2nd owner. The original owner bought it new in 1980 and passed away in 1986. Up in tell 7 years ago, it was stored in his garage up on blocks and surrounded by cardboard boxes for 24 years till I bought it. My intention was to convert it to a cafe' racer but after cleaning it and getting it running, I didn't have the heart to alter it and hack it up. Honda is ALL original down to the tires, amazingly they have NO dry rot. Electric start and kick start works. It starts, runs and rides great. All lights work and so does the horn. Original Seat has NO tares or splits and still has the factory trim. When I bought it, it had 2,900 miles on it, now it has 3,600 miles on it ( I don't ride it much, 100 miles a year) to help save the rectifier. Has the factory tool kit with the original bag, which I was told is the first thing to lose and the hardest thing to aquire. Bike has not been converted to the 12v system, it still is on the 6v system. The factory Rectifier is very strong and still putting out 6.3v ( right where it should be ). Bike will come with 1 automatic shut off 6v charger, extra 6v blinker bulbs and 2 extra air filters. The paint does have a few shallow, barely visible scratches in it and 1 very small dent in side of tank but not creased. If you have any questions, please by all means ask.
