My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2002 Volvo XC70 with just 117k miles. I would rate the exterior of this XC70 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking wagon. She is finished in a blueish-green over gray leather interior, which looks good. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass from front to back. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Volvo. All of the trim and cladding are present and show well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how clean this Volvo came in. I would also rate the interior of this XC70 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, the interior shows very well for an older vehicle. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The leather seats are supple, comfortable and clean. The power windows, locks, seat, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. There are independent temperature settings for the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. A full set of owner's books as well as two keys and two remotes are included. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L Turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There was a check engine light on when I purchased the car. The error code was for a boost sensor circuit...so chances are there is a little sensor not reading right or maybe a broken wire in the little connector. It seems to have no bearing on how the car runs and drives, though. The engine feels strong and she gets down the road easily. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The AWD system is tested and working properly. This Volvo has a Virginia (or maybe WV) state safety inspection good through the end of May, 2018. The timing belt and water pump appears to have been done right on time at 105k miles. If you're looking for a reliable, economical and very capable vehicle, an XC70 should be at the top of your list. AWD and impressive ground clearance give you SUV-like capability in snow and mud. The impressive cargo space also reminds you of an SUV.
