If you are looking for a show bike, this is not it. If you are looking for a race ready Hare Scramble, Cross Country, or even Motocross bike, look no further. The engine has new piston, rings, wrist pin, bearing and gaskets. It has a 1978 1/2 RM 250 Cylinder head, which adds a few horses. It has tons of compression! I don't recommend kicking it with sneakers on. It has all new clutch fibers, metals, and springs. New Mikuni VM36 Carb. New Air filter, FMF silencer. Pipe is stock, and in excellent condition. The pipe guard was added for protection. The forks work great! I changed the oil and added about 9lbs of air. The seals are good. No leaks. Rear shocks are new Progressives. The suspension works surprisingly well for a 38 year-old dirt bike. It has new handle bars, levers, cables, bark busters, roost deflectors, kill switch. New brake pads front and rear. New N.O.S. brake pedal and brake pedal mount. New rear brake cable. Sprockets are in excellent condition. I added the foot peg extensions. Wheels are in excellent condition. Tires are about 75% New Plastics, new seat foam, new seat cover. I have owned this bike for 2 years, and it only has about 15 hours on the top end. I raced it at Unadilla MX Rewind in June, and had no problems with the motor or suspension. This bike is a blast to ride! It has plenty of power. I am only selling it because I have 10 bikes in the barn, and I need to thin the herd. When I say it is race ready, I mean it. I would race this PE tomorrow with 100% confidence. There are no leaks or drips. I chose Rebuilt on the title option, but there is no title. Bill of sale only. Actual mileage is unknown. Bike is sold as is.
