this 51 Chevy is rough underneath. as was common with this year Chevy, it needs inner/outer rockers, floors from the toe boards to the tail pan. some body to chassis braces, 1/4's rough, there is no front seat. rear seat is there. the dash is complete & intact. no wiring from the firewall forward. no engine or trans. was automatic. no fuel tank. the fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid, top and sides of 1/4 panels above wheels & roof are the most solid parts. the trunk and tail pan under the rear seat and where the rear shocks mount appear to be solid. there is no lock cylinder in the trunk lid. the hood has hinges but no springs attached.(I have them). no front bumper or grill. original suspension front and back with torque tube. all needs rebuilding if u choose to stay stock. The chassis appears solid from front to back.. car is straight, doors close good and line up. the glass is intact. included with the car is the following original 6 cylinder engine parts and 6 volt parts if u want them. if not, ok. radiator, trans cooler, starter, flex plate, bell housing, water pump(new), fuel pump(new), horns, distributor, fan, intake/exhaust manifolds, breather pipe, generator with top/bottom brackets, air cleaner, front bumper brackets, inside headliner rods, original hubcaps and trim rings, and other small odds & ends. would make a great RAT ROD OR GASSER.. Please do not bid on this car if u are not serious about owning this vehicle. ask if you are not sure of something. PLEASE, NO OFFERS ACCEPTED OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES.. Can it be saved?, yes but it needs a whole lot of welding and fitting to make it a solid car again. I can recommend a shipper that I used before if you need one. vehicle being sold as is/ where is with NO RESERVE & with no warranty. you are getting what you see in the pictures. if u have someone in this area to inspect the car for u, all the better. save it from the crusher before the snow flies.
