1983 Mercedes Benz 380 SL. The car has just over 28,500 ORIGINAL miles. it starts on the first crank every time and purrs like a new car. This car runs, drives and stops like a new car and is solid and rust free! It has been stored indoors and pampered all of its life and obviously hardly ever used. There are no rattles , squeaks or vibrations of any kind. It seriously drives like a brand new vehicle. Doors open and shut like a brand new car. German engineering at its best. This is truly a car I would not hesitate to get in and drive cross country. EVERYTHING works and yes the A/C blows cold. A/C has been completely gone through at the note of $2,600. The previous owner also upgraded the timing chain to a DUAL TIMING CHAIN to replace the single timing chain the car originally came with from the factory. The paint on the car is all original and is in excellent condition The soft top is in good condition but has a small tear in the seam. Glass is clear. To be honest I have never put it up since it is a "Sunday " car and only sees the sun on beautiful days. Interior is , dare I say, perfect? Well is really is as near perfect as you will find. No issues whatsoever. Absolutely mint. Rims are like new also, tires are 2 years old and probably have less than 500 miles on them. Hardtop is perfect and headliner is too.
