1978 Honda CB 750F SUPER SPORT. I purchased this bike in 2007 from a friend who bought the bike BRAND NEW in 1978. It was purchased in California and has never left the state. The bike is in fantastic shape and has been stored in a garage for many years of its life. In 1995 the bike was put into a garage under a cover and sat for many years. In the early 2000's the bike was brought to a shop where the tank was cleaned and carbs gone through and was running again. When I got the motorcycle, I replaced the battery, had all four carbs rebuilt, replaced the rear master cylinder, cleaned out the tank, replaced the carburetor intake boots, and replaced hoses, and did front and rear brakes. The bike runs excellent and with under 9000 original miles it's barely broken in!! The shifting is very responsive and the bike has such a wonderful ride. I've had many motorcycles, but none that have run quite as nice as this one. The documentation on this bike is truly unbelievable. I have an incredible amount of receipts, registrations dating back to the first one in 1978, and professional work that's been done to the bike. There are owners manuals, Honda owners I.D. card, even a "Welcome to The Honda Family" letter!! There is also a pad with his mileage, oil change, lube, etc. from 1978 starting at 0 mileage. He even has some scratch paper with mileage and mpg from every time he fueled the bike!! All of the stickers on the bike ie. chain lube, helmet sticker, tire info etc. are all original and in great shape. The original tool case with all the original tools is still under the seat. The bike could use some new tires. There is also a small tear in the seat, but a brand new stock Honda seat cover will be included in the sale. I have so much paperwork and receipts that I can't go through them all but would be happy to answer any questions or even scan anything to send to you. Also I paid all the back registration recently and the bike is registered until Aug 2017 (one of the pics shows the 1995 tag) Turn signals (with silly stock beeping alarm), headlight, high beam, low beam, headlight shut-off switch (for creepin') tail light and brake lights ALL work....horn too!! EVERYTHING!! I will assist with shipping but buyer is responsible financially....
