This car runs well, and there's no rust. Please read the following carefully to understand the pros and cons of this car as well as the terms of sale. The engine runs well. Please go to youtube https://youtu.be/ZkBJTJLUhCA to hear the engine run. The body is in very good shape. I'm told the car was mostly owned in TX, and appears to have been painted. It's a good paint job, and looks reasonably new. Transmission shifts well. Clutch appears to be in decent shape based upon shifting. The car is outfitted with a Bluetooth stereo, so you can use hands free calling or stream music from your Bluetooth device. The fresh air fan does work. The windshield defrost and cabin heat does work. The tires are in reasonably good shape, as are the brakes. No rust in the floorpan. There are new control arm bushings. The wiper motor works great -2 speeds. There are new halogen headlights, and all the brake and blinker lights work. The front and rear seats are in great shape - no tears, etc. The dashboard is in great shape as well. There are age cracks in the steering wheel; these do no affect the driving conditions, though. The horn does not work. The interior light does not work. The odometer works, but the mileage is not accurate. I do not know how many miles are on this car. Body - there is a slight indentation behind the front right blinker, and along the left side panel. There is a light scratch on the light cover on the hood and next to where the trunk meets the windshield. The bright lights switch does not work. The window trim in both doors is cracked; neither door leaks, but the trim could use replacing. The rear view mirror has a crack in the lower right corner. The weatherstripping for the trunk could use replacing; the current trim is "universal" piece, and it should be a "Super Beetle-specifc" piece. The trunk closes fine, and it stays dry inside...it just could fit better. Details of the Sale of this car are below. A $500 deposit via Paypal is required immediately and is non-refundable, as ending an Ebay auction and not buying the vehicle is damaging to the Seller. Any refunds will be at the discretion of the Seller, and are not guaranteed. If the winning bidder does not contact the Seller and submit the $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction close, the vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come, first served basis. For the balance of the payment, Seller will accept bank or wire transfer (preferred) or a cashier’s check. The Seller has represented this car to the best of his ability.
