Hyundai 2004 Sante Fe As Is Comments: We are the original owners. The car starts but does not run. This is the result of a timing belt that broke and has been replaced but it damaged what our mechanic says are probably two intake valves. This is based on his tests that show two cylinders with no compression problems, one with some loss, and one with no compression. Prior to the belt breaking the car ran every day without any issues. The a/c is the coldest we have ever felt. Less than a year ago both catalytic converters were replaced at a cost of $1200. There is a ticking when in reverse at the left front wheel. It has been that way almost since we purchased the vehicle. The vehicle is being sold with the above issues and there are no returns or complaints, so please ask any questions prior to purchasing and we will respond promptly. This is local pickup only, although you can arrange your own shipping, in either case because the car is not running you will need to arrange towing. There is plenty of room in the parking lot for a flat bed tow truck to have access to the car. A deposit of $150 is required within 24 hours of the close of the auction. The balance is required within 3 days of the auction closing, if this does not occur we will relist the item and file a non paying bidder with E-Bay. No exceptions to this, we have sold this vehicle twice and both times we had a non-paying bidder, so our patience has run out. Please do not bid if you do no intend to complete the purchase.
