This is the father/son project that has been sitting in the garage the past 10 years! This was bought at a city auction and the title is signed by the city but was never re-titled so not sure of the status of the title but I have one. (Ebay requested a title type to list car so I checked clear.) An attempt was made to start the car but never got past the hooking up battery stage. The key ignition seems to be inoperative. The lights and flashers and most electrical components work but starter won't engage so possible key ignition or starter? Turning the crank by hand will turn the engine so the engine is not locked.The body has the rear panel rot and rocker rust through and the floors are rusted but no apparent rot through on floors was noticed. You can't tell by photos but there is a luggage rack on trunk lid. Not sure of the actual color. Depending how the light shines - black - dark brown - dark purple - not 100% sure. Not sure of all the mechanical operations so.... 100% transparency here folks. What you see is what you get. I am sure an MGB enthusiast can get this running with minimal effort. Opps..... So much for 100% transparency! Forgot to mention right front fender has a dent in it and the windshield has a crack. You can see it in the photo if you look closely. Otherwise, with the exception of the rust issues no other major body dents.On Sep-15-17 at 09:01:33 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: Due to numerous questions regarding title - I went to DMV and had a clear title made in my name so - Title is clear and in mine name so a normal title now.
