Vehicle Detail
THE GOOD:I have owned this truck for about 5 years. It is a very straight truck but has a lot of Michigan rust.Rebuilt Rear end - Fall 2016Solid Front Axle with Leaf Springs4WD worksHeat works but no A/C. I keep vent on windsheild defrost b/c its hard to put it back there if its moved from that position. All lights work except for one of the high beams. All gauges work except for the clock THE BAD:I have been contemplating between selling fixing it since last fall but I finally decided to sell. It had been dependable until last fall when it started stalling after 10-20 driving. It had done the same thing when I first got it, and I had the fuel filter and fuel pump replaced which solved the problem. The problem has only gotten worse, and it will currently stall after running for about a minute.I think that it is either a fuel pump/filter problem, or an injection pump problem. IT WILL NEED TO BE TOWED!Batteries are weak from a trip across town where it stalled 6 or 7 times and turned a 10 minute trip into 45 minutes.Windsheld has a crack on passenger side.Has 2 fuel tanks but I think the passenger side tank is disconnected. (I've never used it)Wipers will sometimes come on randomly but can be switched offTires could go use replacing in near future. No Reserve! On Sep-12-17 at 17:37:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Somebody was asking about the Rust, and in the name of transparency, I decided to add some pictures and reinforce that the Floor board seems completely SOLID, and so does the bed. (Except small hole in the back of the bed.) The running board on the passenger side is no good. I hardly never use the passenger side (as I'm always driving) and did not notice that it had gotten that bad. Truck comes with spare tire that's in the bed.
