Hyundai 2004 Sante Fe As Is Comments: We are the original owners. The car starts but does not run. This is the result of a timing belt that broke and damaged what our mechanic says are probably two intake valves. This is based on his tests that show two cylinders with no compression problems, one with some loss, and one with no compression. Prior to the belt breaking the car ran every day without any issues. The a/c is the coldest we have ever felt. Less than a year ago both catalytic converters were replaced at a cost of $1200. There is a ticking when in reverse at the left front wheel. It has been that way almost since we purchased the vehicle. The vehicle is being sold with the above issues and there are no returns or complaints, so please ask any questions prior to purchasing and we will respond promptly.
