My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 60+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2008 Mini Cooper with the desirable six speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this Mini Cooper to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking little hatchback. It is finished in Blue and White over Black, which looks good. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Mini. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and hatch all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The optional factory xenon HID headlights to an excellent job at lighting up the road in front of you. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Mini to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets show well for their age and are not excessively worn. Both front seats are heated. The interior has the optional Oak wood trim, which gives the interior a warm feel...unlike the glossy plastic trim found in most. The seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is pretty generous for a small vehicle like this. The rear seats easily fold flat to open up a generous amount of storage capacity. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Mini appears to be in good running and driving condition. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. She hits the road nice and straight. The check engine lightwas on when I purchased this Mini. There is a code for catalyst inefficiency and a rear oxygen sensor error. From my experience driving this Mini, she drives as she should and I have no reason to suspect that the catalytic converter is clogged...especially since there is a rear oxygen sensor code, too. I won't get into the specifics of how these systems operate in an effort to not bore you. Just know that one of the oxygen sensors' jobs is to monitor the catalytic converter. An error in an oxygen sensor can throw the P0420 code. A clogged converter will render a vehicle very difficult to drive as exhaust cannot escape the engine. The engine on this Mini Cooper idles smoothly and revs freely with no evidence of any exhaust restriction. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the desirable six speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she cruises easily...nice and straight...just like she should. If you're looking for a clean Mini with good miles, this little blue and white Cooper with the Panoramic Sunroof deserves your serious consideration. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. If paying by Bank Check or Bank Wire Transfer, funds must clear before your vehicle is available for release. We Do Not Accept PayPal or Credit Cards...at all...period. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without prior written permission may be assessed a storage fee of $10/ day. Storage fees will be deducted first from any monies paid to Liberty Auto Exchange. Non-Paying Bidders: We take what we do very seriously and ask that potential bidders take placing their bid just as seriously. Non-Paying Bidders will be assessed a re-listing fee of $249. This fee is considered due and payable, without demand, to Liberty Auto Exchange on the 8th day from the end of the auction. Non-Paying Bidders will be reported to eBay, blocked from bidding on future auctions and may be referred to our Collection Agency for credit reporting and fee recovery. Fees and Taxes The only fee we charge is the $149 Administrative Fee that is also disclosed in the first sentence of the written description. Because we sell with NO RESERVE, we have no way to control how much (if any) money we make per vehicle. This fee helps us isolate a few of our fixed, per transaction expenses in a way that is fair to everyone. The winning bidder is responsible for paying all required fees to their respective state of origin.
