1949 Dodge Wayfarer roadster, (two door convertible). Only 9,342 were manufactured making this car very rare. It was, in fact, the LAST American roadster ever built. Runs pretty well, strong motor and trans, yard drives well , stops with the emergency brake. No smoking, knocking or overheating. Running off of gravity fed gas can. Stored since 1962, (see by the license plate) in a shed with a partial dirt floor. Surprisingly, the main portions of the floors and the frame are good, however, the real issues are the rotted out rocker panels and door sills which the car depends on for strength. The doors therefore do not close solidly. There is an online source for these parts: plymouthdoctor.com.They offer inner and outer rocker panels plus the door sills for about $700. These are accurately made and of excellent quality or you might opt to make them up yourself. If you have ARC or MIG welding skills, this is a pretty straight forward fix. I have way too many projects so am offering this car at a bargain price. Once done, you'll have a high end classic worth serious money. All top bows are present and in good shape, however, the top itself is pretty well shot. I do not have a title for this car but do have two old Maine registrations dating back to 1960 and 1961. Many states will accept this in lieu of a title. Check your local laws to be sure.
