1998 Triumph Thunderbird Sport

First: Although stunning, it is a used bike and does have very, very, small blemishes here and there. Although it will be 20 years old next year, more than one person has said that they literally thought it was a brand new bike. I have had many bikes over the years, I always regretted selling my first TBS(Triumph Thunderbird Sport). This is my second one and I spent a loooong time looking for the right one because I'm extremely picky about condition/aesthetics. Honestly, it's exceptional. The "Sport" model Thunderbird is NOT a styling exercise. It came factory spec'd with many expensive and meaningful performance upgrades over the rest of the model line. Fully adjustable suspension, powerful triple discs, lighter alloy rims, and better ergonomics. Not that they aren't good bikes too...but it's not your uncles Adventurer. I have both factory seats(cafe and 2 up), the original license plate holder, mirrors and rear footpegs/bracket that will also go with the bike. The mirrors on the bike are nice Rizoma's, and the plate frame is wired with a license plate light (50 state legal) The last 1998/99 TBS I saw on Ebay sold for $5000.00. My reserve is set lower than that, and I think this bike is in nicer condition. Why am I selling? Unfortunately for me, I only rode it once for about fifty miles. A couple of days after I bought it I broke my hand and can't ride for a very long time. Rather than have it sitting, I've decided to sell it to put some money into my house renovation. I have a seller signed and notarized Ohio title ready for transfer into the new buyers name. I can meet you or your shipper at my home in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh PA whenever needed.
