This is an 1969 Pontiac Firebird, it is in decent shape, the car has great potential, 400 engine, auto trans. I'll try to describe the car as it is, I'm not going to say its a great car when it's not. I traded for the car and have decided to list it for sale, if it sells, fine, if not, I'll do a few things to it and drive it myself. The car has been sitting up for several years, I've changed the oil and filter, the carb was stopped up and gummed up from old gas, I replaced the carb, replaced the plugs, got it running, appears to run good. It does need to have the fuel tank cleaned out, I drove it about 2 miles and the fuel filter clogged up, I have cleaned the filter again, the radiator does have a small leak, and the headliner needs replaced, the rest of the interior is in decent shape. Overall the body is in pretty decent shape, the paint has a few flaws, there is a little rust in the floor pan under the front seats, not a lot though, the wheels are real Weld wheels, skinnies on front, wide on rear, has power steering, power brakes, disc on front, has flowmaster mufflers, ( the previous owner removed the tailpipes, but they are included) (in the trunk). The ac case under the hood is missing, but the heater/ac parts under the dash appears to be there. I've priced the car cheap to sell, or I could spend a few hundred and fix the headliner, radiator, etc, and raise the price a few thousand, but instead you can benefit by a much lower purchase price, and spending a few hundred and fix it yourself, and save a few thousand. Overall, even though the car needs some work, I think the car has great potential, I don't think you can find many of these cars that even run for this price anymore. Odometer shows 70,736, although I don't know the actual mileage. I would encourage anybody interested in the car to check out the car in person.I may consider possible trades (nice 79-81 Malibu, 87-88 monte carlo ss, 96 impala ss, ,etc). I will give a clear bill of sale, no title, Alabama is not required to have titles on older vehicles. Its been garaged from then til last year, and then was covered.
