UPDATE: I added a Hi Lift jack, Jack Mate, jack stand and tire block and also an 'on board air' bracket to this listing -- see pics. -- I bought this Jeep in 2006 when it was ten years old with 80,000 miles. Over the years I have never had a problem with the engine itself, only replacing components as necessary. I've recently replaced the starter, alternator, battery, radiator, water pump, fan clutch, thermostat, idler pulley, power steering pulley and bracket. New front breaks and rotors one year ago. The transmission was rebuilt about 40,00 miles ago, and the rear end rebuilt about 25,000 miles ago. I have added stiffer springs and shocks, urethane bushings, bigger front and rear sway bars, bigger steering components, adjustable track bar, adjustable front upper control arms, heavy duty front control arm mounts, and a K&N air filter. It ran well until recently. It starts (but now the battery is dead), but dies after a few min. It may loss of compression due to a head gasket. Other issues are: sunroof inoperable, front diff needs to be rebuilt, interior is needs updating. This would be a rebuild (I would if I had the space) or something that can parted out (so many good parts)It needs to be gone within a week, so If it's still here, I will have to have Pick n Pull take it away.
