I am selling my very beautiful UNRESTORED ORIGINAL CONDITION 1983 Honda CB1100f. If you’re looking at this ad, there’s a good chance you already know about the history of the CB1100f, but if for some reason you don’t, this motorcycle was only produced for one year by Honda and is now sought after by collectors and enthusiast all over the world. I purchased this motorcycle in from its original owner in San Jose California where it spent its entire life meticulously cared for and garage kept. This motorcycle is 100% Stock meaning there are no aftermarket parts of any kind… When I purchased the motorcycle I did address a few issues to bring it up to my standards. Mechanically the bike was perfect and other than an oil change I did nothing to the motor. It did have a leaking fork seal so both have been replaced. I also replaced the grips with OEM Honda grips as the previous owner had changed them to a foam type. Cosmetically, the motorcycle was a 9 out of 10 with the exception being the front fairing had a very small scratch (about the size of a dime) as well as a very small imperfection on the front fender so I had them both repainted using the factory Honda R125 Pearl Maui Red paint. The paint looks great but I am an absolute perfectionist and in dim light I feel like it is just a shade darker but that could be because the new paint has had very limited exposure to UV rays… I am a collector so I’ve only rode this motorcycle a few times to the world famous Alice's Restaurant in Woodside California (30 miles from my house) and cruised the mountains totaling just about 200 miles, and it rode great every time I took it out. These bikes are known for big power and high top speed but the tires are from 9/4/2003, so I have always ridden very conservatively. Like all older Hondas this one is cold blooded, meaning when it’s cold they run a little ruff but after it gets warmed up it runs great! This motorcycle is unrestored and shows some VERY SMALL surface corrosion on the aluminum in a couple places, I wanted to preserve its originality so I did NOT polish the aluminum although it could very easily be done. Please keep in mind this motorcycle is 34 years old and is unrestored. I know my 1979 CBX is going to miss its “garage buddy” but it’s time for this classic to find a new home and I hope the next owner enjoys it as much as I have. Overall this motorcycle is in phenomenal condition!!!
