***PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU BID. THIS BIKE IS CURRENTLY NOT RUNNING.*** Well loved, used CB450. I purchased this bike in 2007 and added the sidecar around 2010. The sidecar is of unknown manufacture, but the mounting was done by SIDESTRIDER in Los Angeles, they are the best. The sidecar is mounted with a custom welded steel frame and has a steering dampener. Bike ran well since I bought it and it's a kick to ride around on this thing. I performed all regular service on it until 2015 when I moved, got a new job, later had a kid. And the bike has been sitting in my garage untouched in 2 years. Time to sell. I started to play with it to sell it but unfortunately I left it sitting with gas in the tank. The tank is rusted, the petcock seized-up. The tank needs to be kreem-ed, but I don't have the time. I just bought a new battery. Tires have very few miles on them. Bike was mechanically sound: starting easily and running well before I stopped paying attention to it. It had developed an issue where it was slipping a bit in 2nd gear. It's possible the bike needs a new clutch. This bike has been in a garage since I've owned it. Please see pics for wear & tear. It is definitely used and has a vintage, funky vibe. There is a tear in the sidecar seat, and the paint is faded in places but still some good shine to the paint and the chrome. The mileage on the odometer reads: 19501 and the odometer works. But, as with any bike of this era, I have no idea as to the accuracy of that. Since purchasing in 2007, I'd estimate that I've put 4000k miles on it. I've never used it to commute. Mostly short weekend joyrides and the occasionally grocery run.
