1978 Dodge Aspen Super Coupe.Numbers matching 360/4 barrel w/automatic.This a mostly original paint car(the flat black has been repainted) on what has to be one of the cleanest,original rust free bodies on the planet.The bottom of this car is so clean and zero rust that is still has most of it's original gray primer and totally rust-free metal.The only rust spot on the whole car is shown in the one photo(size of a dime)and is located under the left rear wheel flair where I assume where some water and dirt accumulated.As you can see,I do have the drivetrain and suspension removed from the car.The rear end has been rebuilt with a new Dr Diff 3:55 sure grip rear end,powered coated and ready to install.New leaf springs were also powder coating and ready to reassemble and install.The transmission was rebuilt,with a shift kit and all new seals and gaskets installed.The motor ran great when I pulled it this springs and currently have the heads getting freshened up along with a new oil pan and the original carb has been restored by Harms Automotive,It with need to have these parts reinstalled and painted.I also have a new fuel tank that has been modified so it can installed one slot over to the right to allow dual exhaust to be installed on the car with tailpipes exiting equally on each side.As you can see,the interior needs nothing.It is original with no tears,cracking,spilts etc.Dash pad has no cracks.Original AM/FM radio works great.The a/c is complete with new a/c compressor and condenser.The front suspension is out and still assembled as a unit.I was going to rebuild this along with powdercoating the k frame,but that would be up to the new owner.This car does not need to be repainted,as you can see in the pictures,itr still has a very good shine and presents very well.All the correct,hard to find Super Coupe parts are here.Wheel flais,front and rear spoliers,gas cap,correct 15X8 wheels with NOS trim rings and center caps.I bought this car with the intensions of cleaning up,internally modify a few things to enhance performace and then reassemble and be the only one at the cruise in.But I recently found out that I as getting a new Demon and have no place for another car.So one has to go.I'm trying this one first and see if this one sells.If not,I'll try my 2011 Challenger SRT 392 Green with Envy with 212 miles on it next.Email with any questions.On Jul-26-17 at 11:33:39 PDT, seller added the following information: Just been moving around and going thru some additional parts I have accumulated for the Super Coupe and it's giving me second thoughts..anyway the radiator has been restored by Glen Ray and is still in the box.The grille is NOS,althought had 2 cracks that have been repaired and hard to see.The taillights,sidemarker lights,headlight bezels,master cylinder,brake cables are also NOS.All brackets that have been blasted and painted and ready to install.All the bolts/nuts that I have removed have been replated and bagged/labeled.Everything is here to put the car back together and once the engine is assembled,could be done in a weekend.On Jul-26-17 at 13:17:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Also new in the box stripe/decal set.
