I am the second owner, having purchased it from a woman in Tennessee. It has been completely reliable with the exception of the ABS Modulator, which has been replaced (November 2015 by Bob’s BMW). All routine servicing is up-to-date. I can provide the maintenance records if wanted. The odometer is currently reading 34,750 original miles, but will increase slightly as I will ride it until it sells. All maintenance has been performed either by me or a BMW motorcycle dealership (Bob’s BMW, Capital BMW, or Adventure BMW). The engine oil and filter are changed every 3 thousand miles. The transmission/gear oil, final drive oil, and brake fluid are changed every 2 years. The front and rear brake lines were replaced with stainless steel ones. The clutch fluid has also been changed. The engine coolant was last renewed 3 years ago. The Avon Storm front tire has approximately 1,000 miles on it and the Avon Storm rear tire has approximately 5,000 miles of use. The BMW saddlebags are keyed to match the motorcycles' ignition key and are in excellent condition. The liners are included also. A Chicane tailbag with raincover is part of the luggage system and can be “locked down” to the motorcycle via the BMW luggage rack. There is a separate BMW key for this function. There are some scratches on either side of the motorcycle (see photos), but are minor enough and low enough that they don’t detract from the aesthetics of the motorcycle. There are also some scratches on the underside of the Two Brothers Performance exhaust as it was placed on the motorcycle used and came scratched. Light surface rust can be seen on the bolt heads on front brake discs and calipers (see photos). The motorcycle is in very good to excellent condition! It has not been driven abusively and has been well cared for. As with all my vehicles, it is not just transportation, but an extension of my personality. Hence, it has seen a lot of TLC! The title is clear and in my name. Cash or certified cashiers check for final pickup. NC requires that my signature be notarized on the title, so be prepared to go with me to the notary public. NO test rides without full payment. Pick-up of the motorcycle will be the responsibility of the winning bidder. A $500.00 deposit is required at auctions end and the balance will be due upon pick-up.
