Vehicle Detail
Purchased from the Ed Brooks estate auction in San Jose California, 2011. Engine freshened up by Raber's a couple of years later, been sitting in my living room since then. Time for a new home. Condition is better than a 'rider', but only just. Definitely not a concours machine but you'd still get a lot of compliments at the cafe. Starts, stops and drives like it should, with a couple of caveats. It feels a little undergeared to me (though perhaps this is how they were) and the clutch slips a bit. Both relatively easy to remedy with the chaincase open, but I'm surprised it left Raber's this way. They should have caught that. Engine sounds period great, lights and dynamo work fine. Note later Concentric carb, mechanic got fed up with old 276 and it now idles like a jewel, see video address. Ebay doesn't allow embedded video anymore, I guess, hopefully they'll let the address go so you can copy and paste to Youtube. Video sound quality a bit 'tinny', I promise engine sounds just like it should. Otherwise you should get a pretty good sense of the machine. I will answer questions promptly, thanks for looking. https://youtu.be/9tDM5gtOigY
